Benchmark Eatery

Second time eating here. Came in today after the annual Summer Solstice parade. It was packed but we were promptly seated. We got drinks right away and our food came surprisingly fast considering the crowed house. Very pleased once again. Great job handling the busy weekend!

One of my favorite restaurants for a quick bite on the patio. Location on a corner allows for a breeze when it's warm and patio heaters provide warmth when it's cool. The food, location, prices, and house beer are worthy of a 5, however the service is hit-and-miss, this an overall score of 4. The servers don't seem to be trained well or have an understanding of good customer service. Nonetheless, I like the place and I'll continue to patronize ????

Another solid Downtown spot for some high quality food. It has a pretty sizable following of regulars—which is always a good sign in this town—so you know the food is good. I have no qualms with the food and their drinks are really good. They've got enough variety on their menu to keep you interested no matter what type food you're craving. It's certainly worth a stop if you're looking for a quality place to eat downtown. Just be sure to reserve your table if you're planning on showing up on a weekend.

A tasty spot in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. Big enough for large groups and casual enough to feel comfy. The atmosphere is casual and laid back, and the staff engaging and fun. The veiws of state st are some of the best views in town. So weather you want to people watch or be close to the action the Benchmark delivers.
