Great food. Only one server and it was hot as hell in the restaurant so we were sweating bullets. Prices were pretty damn fair though

Food was amazing! It's no wonder they have been here for so long. It was affordable and my boyfriend and I shared a meal and still had too much for us to finish. Will be going back and highly recommending

Absolutely delicious. I went for breakfast and ordered the New Mexico Enchilada. While I waited I enjoyed the house made chips and salsas. The fresh salsas were a perfect blend of vibrant vegetables, herbs, and spices. The enchilada sauce was dark and rich while the shredded beef was tender and well seasoned. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient.

The original Rose Cafe, and has been open for a probably firty years or more. This area of Santa Barbara is not too congested so you can find street parking quite easily. The wait staff was extremely friendly. I got a chicken burrito and my wife got cheese enchiladas, both were delicious. If you've been to the location in Mesa, you'll be able to tell this location is older, but Still great also don't forget to use your Axxess card!

Santa Barbara has only a few true diners and this is one of them. A classic family-run diner setup serving good Mexican food and lots of it. I don't think you can really go wrong with an order here. If you're looking for exquisite quality then you may not quite get what you're looking for here, but it's a great place to sit down and eat surrounded by hardworking locals.
