We Want The Funk

I went here this past Sunday with my family! It was so fun. Another reviewer wrote this is the kind of place you need in your life. I totally agree… I tried to convince the owner to open one near where I live. Haha They had a great band playing in the afternoon. They could sing/play any song. The owner was kind and friendly along with the team working there. The food was great! Perfect place for all ages 👌👌

The atmosphere was incredibly fun! I went for an event with a friend and everything was well organized and user friendly. The frozé (rosè slushy) was refreshing. We got Flatbread pizza that was quick to recieve. They have vegetarian and lactose free options available. There was plenty of seating. The event was super popular and eventually it got crowded but the oversight by staff was great! Parking was challenging, so we took an uber.

This is the kind of place that we all need in our lives. I walked in with my family of four and felt like I was enveloped in a hug by my ultra cool aunt. The vibe is friendly, welcoming, and personal. Kid friendly, and also a great date night spot.
The food is exquisite yet straightforward and is very reasonably priced, a feat in the current economy.
I will definitely be back for live music on the patio, a bite, and to explore the wine selection.
Perfect location to pop into while wine tasting in the funk zone, and a great destination on its own.

Very chill, friendly new business. Industrial, open feel with large patio for groups/kids. Nice beer/wine selection, and food is elevated casual. Recommend the tempura fried green beans; will come back for the Strauss soft serve.
