Birreria La Charrita

Love this place.

We came one night b4 I knew the closing hours. My mom really wanted to come to this place again, so we went for dinner. I felt a little bad afterwards, but I really liked that the employees were attentive and helpful which is very rare when restaurants are about to close so I appreciate their priorities.
There is tons on their menu and it all seemed so good so I had to ask for the most popular or recommended plates or tacos. He said quesabirria tacos, the molcajetes, and the crispy shrimp tacos.
I honestly would eat anything with hot cheetos in it, so their flaming menu caught my eye. I got one asada and shrimp flaming taco and my mom went with the crispy shrimp tacos (3 🌮)
I hope the horchata wasn't powder bc it was so good!!! Lol
My taco was so good, the asada was packed with flavor, and the flaming part was just a red tortilla that unfortunately had no cheeto flavor but I like that it was hand made. The shrimp and asada combination was really good tho, I'd still get it again. My moms crispy tacos were good too, they did lack flavor but I didn't add anything from their salsa bar to enhance the flavor.

There is an entrance on Broadway to get the the restaurant and if you don't find parking, there is a more behind the restaurant. It's a plaza so there's tons of pparking.

Thank you very much for the dinner. Can't wait to go back.

We came here for lunch. It's nice, food was ok, just not really full of flavor. We'll be giving it another chance and try other food selections here though!
