Cool Hand Luke's - Santa Maria

The Experience wasn't so bad as waiting for a table when you could see 15 to 20 of them outside nobody sitting at them. Then I asked for the heater to be turned on and it took five times before someone finally did. The young man who did turn the heater on was amazing and continue to come back and asked us if we needed anything. We ordered our orders first or appetizers I should say they were delicious we were very happy with what we got. However we then ordered the steak and bread because the orders had filled us up so much. It was ordered medium rare and we got it extra well done. Since I absolutely cannot enjoy anything that is that well-cooked I let them know told them I was kind of in a hurry because we have another place to go to they told me they could remake it in about 8 minutes. We waited and unfortunately this time it came back a little bit medium and instead of saying anything I just paid for our meal and I gave it to my dogs. It was rather tough. When the staff would spot us and see that I was trying to get their attention they were very responsive which was nice like I say the young man I believe his name was Jacob was extremely on it. Picking up dishes that were empty glasses that were empty asking if I want it more coffee excetera. So there were enough waitresses to handle the outside area it just seemed like it took a while to get them back to the table. This is a rough time for everybody so I would actually have give this three and a half Stars.

last night was our first time we visited this excellent restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We had a good time with the generous service, with the first-rate meal and wine and with the friendly price. We will absolutely go back there soon.

Good food very pricey

Cool Hand Luke's is open with a very nice patio setup. They have tents set up so there is plenty of shade. The menu has all of your favorites. I had prime rib- yum! The beef cut like butter and the seasoning gave a satisfying crunch. I also enjoyed my sailed and baked potato. I finished with the cookie sundae. Staff was nice and friendly.

I have only been there once but when I did go I had the Chicken Fried Steak it was amazing. The service was good as well.
