Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company

I was craving pizza and left disappointed. Let’s break this down from start to finish.
1. The environment is nice and open. Friendly faces
2. Ordering is simple, clear menu
3. I HATE when I go to a place and am asked for a tip before service. You are asked for tip before service. Also if you leave an open drink tab they will charge 18% before closing you out. I can understand charging some but 18% is pricey. Don’t stumble away drunk.
4. Wondering why I was charged a tip, I sit down, you grab your own drinks, aside from alcohol. No refills, could be due to virus(not sure) I had a number called so I grabbed my own food, own drinks and bussed my own table.
5. The pizza was extremely mediocre. Personally I don’t like thin crust. The crust was good for thin crust. It had a good crunch and wasn’t to hard or soft. I got a supreme pizza, otherwise you pay $17 for a small 3 topper and $2 for each additional topping (no biggie) but even on my supreme a few of my slices had one or two ingredients on it because it was spread around correctly. They’re generous with olives though. The sauce had a strong tomato flavor. I also ordered some fries, just don’t. They were very bland.
Summary: pros: nice environment, friendly faces.
Cons: Mediocre food and self serve (not bad just unexpected since I was asked for a tip)

Food was ok. Very expensive. Nice outdoor seating.

Love the pizza and we have friends that work here. Its always nice to know people where you go. Lizards mouth puts me over the top. I always enjoy pizza and a beer.

This microbrew has no in-house food service, but you can bring pretzels and also order out. You go there for the beer. The indoor bar and the outside patio area are equally uninteresting and without charm, but there are good people to talk to. Several good IPA's, and a Davy Brown. O.G. Pizza and beer mustard pretzel! Food hit the spot. Beer was great. Not much else you can ask for. Definitely going again.
