    Hahaaa that's right the menudo was named after my grandfather Salvador Aleman nice to see it's still on the menu thank you pepper garcias when i lived in santa Maria i loved that spot

    Great spot to get a drink and some excellent Mexican food before a flight to LAX or Las Vegas.

    Stopped by for the Wednesday night Mexican Buffet. It was easy to find parking and we were seated promptly. Besides the buffet, you can also eat off the menu. The buffet offered many options including my favorites Chili Verde and Chili Rellenos. Standards like tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas were also available. There were plenty of sides including sour cream, guacamole, cheese, rice, beans. The food was hot and tasty. Desserts included churros, cookies, flan, and fresh fruit.

    By now I have been at Pepper's Garcia several times, never disappointed. Excellent food, great service and nice setting. Hard to find such great Mexican restaurant but if you are driving on HWY101 (or just flying your private plane), this is a great stop. I like the Chicken Fajitas that comes with various vegetables and the very nice add ons surrounding it. The next great Mexican food I know is in Salinas, hundreds of miles to the north.
