“I love that The Beach has fresh and healthy options... especially thankful for the vegan options! I always seem to crave it when they're closed, but now and then, I catch them during business hours. Last time, I got a sandwich with hummus, cucumbers, sprouts, tomatoes. The bread was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed a side of sliced vegetables with hummus and a Dole Whip to drink. It was more than I could eat in one meal, so I enjoyed some of it later. I love to eat on the patio outside, enjoy the music, and someday, I'll get there for a live music performance (which they host regularly). Once, I watched a launch from the patio, great view and a comfortable seat! One wish would be to offer vegan options for substitutes in the smoothies. Honey is a no go for me. I got a berry smoothie once but I was disappointed with no yogurt option and no sweetener... I got only berries, ice, and water :( but I know that it is only a matter of time and availability. Thank you to the owner and employees for providing a much needed haven.”

“What a great breakfast. Coffee was great. Service was great. The food was incredible. I ordered the pork chop special and normally the breakfast pork chops are dry because they are thin cut, not these. They had great flavor and were juicy. The homestyle potatoes had big pieces of bell peppers and were seasoned perfect. If you are in town and looking for a place to eat breakfast you have to go here, you will not be disappointed.”

“I hadn't been there since earlier this year when we celebrated my sister Mary Janes life here with all of us and I pi C Jen ip a few buckets of chicken. Worked at my H street property for 4 hours today mainly sweeping up leaves so was worn out. I decided to stop by KFC to pick up some chicken...decided to try their new French Fries. WOW...those are amazing...reminds me of when I was a teenager and took my 3 little sisters to A&W for Rootbeer here in town on West Ocean Avenue and they too had what we called BATTER FRIES. I immediately thought of those and gobbled them up by the time I got out to Mesa Oaks. The batter is so similar and I have often wondered if anyone would make them that way. Anyone who was here in town and remember those fries should treat themselves. Oh, the chicken was great also. I plan to let me family know so they can head on down to the corner of H and Central and have some. Take gentle care everyone. Francine”
