This place originally I never knew much about it until my brother's friend took me to one in Palo Alto and it has become a instant hit with me. The tablet ordering is a novelty that has not worn out with me since it is a fine example of a business embracing technology. The food is simple but well made and tasty every time I go there the consistency is always on point. What I love is the seasonal limited time offering those are really unique and I can't divulge on what it is you will have to find out yourself. The recently added Chawanmushi satisfy my craving for those custard egg goodies. The teishoku (Japanese set meals) is always a delight to go enjoy lunch or dinner.
One of the best Japanese restaurants I have ever been. I ordered egg coated chicken for 19.95 and it was great.
The meats are very fatty and the food is a bit expensive for what you get. Although, they don't seem to accept tips and so the price is cheaper than the menu would imply.
The ordering system is fun and the servers are nice. Also, the atmosphere is pretty upscale when compared to other nearby businesses. It is one of those places where you will be tempted to photograph your food.
Automated order system, even for water! However if you got a question for the menu, you might need to wait a bit before the service comes around.
The food is good but a bit expensive. The katsu was ok. The grill fish is good. The portion of the food is decent.
No tip added for this place since everything is automated but it feels like they’ve already added tip in the food cost.
There was no line when I got there around 7pm on Thursday. The restaurant did get full by the time we got our food.
Would come again to try different item of food.
Nice environment and friendly service with convenient tech infra. I loved the Japanese style bowls and plates. With all these, the food came out disappointing. They looked good too but didn’t taste as good. Too sweet and too salty, and the desert with ice cream - with canned fruits instead of fresh. Out of the whole meal only the fried chicken steak was good.
