Casa De Fruta Market & Resort

Casa De Fruta has everything for everyone! The store is stocked full of all the candy and dried and fresh fruits you could imagine, as well as jams and sauces. We bought two fresh pies and they traveled well on the two hour trip home. We also stopped in at the deli and had lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and well priced. The play area for the kids is perfect for ages 5-8. The train ride and carousel are perfect family rides. There are several ducks and peacocks roaming the pond and playground area, but they don't bother anyone.

A mandatory stop on the way out of town with family, this location is as familiar as home.
It is constantly undergoing upgrades here and there but it will never change.
The layout is expansive, with nooks everywhere to display the unbelievable amount of items. One trip could never do it justice as this place is a destination in itself. The environment is fun and the staff is super nice and helpful.
I look forward to my next visit.

I stop here a lot during travel and I love it. The workers are always awesome and the bathrooms always clean. They totally deserve 5 stars but I give it only 3 stars because I think they can do better with their selections of food and drink. For example they have a fountain soda machine but it has only basic flavors and not even do they have slushy. I think with the fancy name they should offer more then other Chevron locations. Like soft serve ice cream or cherry limeade soda.
I switched it to 5 stars because this place really is a unique spot to stop. If they did serve soft serve ice cream that would just be a bonus. They really are a 5 star gas station so I changed it.

Great place to stop and take a break. Great atmosphere and very relaxing to just stroll around the different stores. Fresh fruit as well as dried fruit, gift baskets available in several sizes. Beautiful peacocks walking around the entire property. Always a must to stop when traveling to Bay area.
