The Post

Well, the staff is kind, and the cocktails are solid, but the food is only ok. Maybe its just a decent bar, and not a place to go for real food.

Large place with ample seating. The restaurant has kind of food smell though. I think the food preparation section and dining does not have a barrier in between. The server we had was a a bit too friendly, made it slightly awkward interactions. The food looked good and tasted good as well.

The Post is a restaurant and bar newly opened in downtown Los Altos. Although it’s a full service restaurant open for lunch and dinner, I very much appreciate this place for its lively evening atmosphere and cocktail bar, which brings a much needed night-time hangout to the area. The food is not incredible but good enough for a decent meal. It’s really the overall package, including the fun atmosphere, good service (especially at the counter) and tasty cocktails that add up to an overall four stars.
