Great place for lunch with great food and excellent service. Nice children's menu.

I had waited quite some time to try this restaurant. It was decent.....Managed to rack up a $350.00 dollar tab but tried several items including apps, desert and wine. I had high expectations but sadly it wasn't to my liking. The apps were good where the entrees were mediocre.

We had a very tasty to-go experience. We ordered fish and chips, mahi tacos, and chicken fingers kids meal. All the portions were a good size (although pricey), order was correct, and the food was delicious! Everything was still crispy and hot when we got home. Would recommend!

So yummy!! I'm here in San Jose area for work and we've eaten here twice. It is so good, and the service is excellent. Check it out if you love seafood!

I decided to try La Pesca Blue after reading all the positive reviews, so I stopped by for lunch. Boy, was I disappointed.

It’s a small neighborhood restaurant, tucked away in a strip mall between a Safeway and a sub shop, and it would be easy to miss if it weren’t for the large blue banner out front. Although it’s a casual spot, the tablecloths dress it up a bit. The rest of the decor is unimaginative. Pricing seems to be bit high compared to other mid-range restaurants in the area.

The menu is large and varied but I was in the mood for a typical lunch of fish and chips. My order consisted of four pieces of deep fried cod served with waffle fries and coleslaw. I wish I’d chosen something else. I found the thick coating to be overly greasy and the fish to a bit gelatinous. The coleslaw and fries were just ok.

On a positive note, the service was very good and everything including the restroom was squeaky clean.

I make it a point to support small family owned businesses and I really wanted to like this place. Maybe I’ll give them another chance at dinner someday. In the meantime, there are plenty of highly rated alternatives in the area.
