Sen Dai Sushi

Got the Ultimate Combo. Sushi rolls were decent. I would describe the Sushi and Sashimi as floppy fish. Not bad fish, but not exciting or great either.

Also, there is no all-you-can-eat special. They no longer do all-you-can-eat.

Came here for a quick lunch date with the wife. Food was really good and the service was super fast. Menu wasn't too pricey but was not cheap either. For Milpitas, this place offers a wide variety of sushi and it tasted really good. I can see why it gets a busy as it does.

It was busy on the Sunday for lunch, so it was 15-20 minute wait for seating. My party of two sat at the bar. The menu items were quite pricey ($15 for a veggie bento box, $16 for Sen Dai Sushi Roll). For the price, the rolls were sloppily made so were falling apart. Besides the presentation, the food was decent but unmentionable; standard sushi flavor and texture.

Sen Dai is a decent sushi restaurant, and if my preferred places are closed I would go back.

If I'm near Milpitas, this is my go to sushi place. It's small, with limited hours, but the food is great and reasonably priced. Service is fast. If you come at lunch there will be a line out the door and you'll have to wait. But the turnover is pretty quick.

Gets packed very quickly. Have been here a few times and at 5pm there is usually a line forming to get in. This time I went on a Tuesday evening and there were seats available. But by the time we had left - around an hour, the place was fully filled up, with a line to the door. Understandably so; the food is delicious, their tuna is out of this world, and everything is made perfectly. The staff is efficient and nice, not intrusive either.
