Lanzhou noodle is pretty authentic, the best I could find in the bay area.
Definitely worth a try, especially when the weather is cold.
The food was good...I got the dry noodle pork...It was a bit oilly though than needed...I would say 4 stars just for having more oil...I went in with 5 other people and 2 of them also complained of having more oil...else the service was good...the timing was good...and the pricing was resonable...
Taste and portions are worthy of the price. Service is not really good as well
Came by here for a lunch at 12:30 on a weekday and was able to get a seat without issue. The house special noodle soup was good but not particularly memorable but you;d have no regrets giving it a try. I'd have no issues returning but would not go out of my way for it nor would I find myself craving more. Worth a try.
It was definitely a great bowl of noodle soup! The noodle is tender just right, the soup is flavorful but not greasy, and the meat is fresh. I also like how they put fresh garlic on the side for people like me who cares more about enjoying food then being sticky.
However it sucks not being able to enjoy such great bowl of noodle soup for more than a minute because without AC it is just too hot to eat noodle soup in the summer! I'm hoping the owner will come to realize that the extra revenue they can make by having AC can well pay for the AC itself and over.
