Idly Express

Got the mini idly and the lunch thali. Mini idly was good although the sambar could be a little more flavorful. We got the lunch thali on their recommendation, I'd say it was not worth it. I wouldn't get it again.

Even though they have a couple of tables outside, it is definitely more of a takeout place. All food comes in takeout containers (not an issue at all) and they don't have restrooms or drinking water.

We were visiting our cousin and got a lot of hype about this place. Tried their breakfast on Aug 07. We tried their idly, mini idly, medu wada and pongal... everything was fresh, hot and tasted like home made. Sambar was piping hot and amazing. The lady at the front was very friendly and welcoming. Their tiffin box service seems to be interesting!!!

The food here tastes like home cooked meal. Been there twice and was satisfied both times. The meal portions are sufficient and the price is affordable. They do not really have seating and offer only take out. But there are a couple of tables outside. The downside is their menu is not very customizable. You get freshly made curries in pre-packed boxes. The curries are different each day.

We got the Idly Vadai Combo. Got the order in few minutes. We got 2 of each. Idlis were nice fluffy and big. Medu Wadas were tasty. Sambar was awesome!! Chutneys were perfect.

Some friends recommended this as one do the best South Indian places around, and everything here was delicious. They’re doing to-go only these days. Do not skip the vada! Just so good.

Want to say thank you to the sweet employee who overheard it was my birthday while I was getting take out, then went out of her way to call us back in and give us a full size dessert!
