My daughter brought me for the first time to this little gem of a place on a Saturday night. We had the cannelloni which was extraordinary. The rigatone wasn’t al dented however the house made meat sauce was delicious. The wait staff was warm, professional and overall created a relaxing setting. Thank you so much Maurizio’s for a great experience.

The service and accommodations are so good I really wanted to give it five stars. And even though the food wasn't absolutely perfect, I would have...only the prices are pretty high for the food that isn't quite perfect. The rib eye was good but the potatoes were so dry roasted they were close to stale and the cheese was melted weird on the roasted veggies (which there weren't enough of). My husband's stuffed pasta was good but it lacked some aesthetics. These are things I wouldn't normally ding at a mid-priced places but if I'm paying $40 a plate, it should at least look nice, right? We also ordered an orange soda and lemon soda. We we're expecting an Italian cream soda. We basically got orange and lemon juice in some soda. And the lemon wasn't fresh squeezed. I grow lemons; I know the difference between fresh squeezed and the bottles of lemon juice. These are all small things, right? Like I said, the small thing matter when you walk out having paid $115 for the experience. But we had a nice time and the service and staff were exceptional.

We were looking for dinner after a long drive from LA on our way to half moon bay . We were so happy we decided to take a break at Maurizio’s. The service was friendly and gracious. The polenta was unbelievable and don’t miss the frozen lemon pie, which is beyond fantastic. Sara our waitress was the best, and Daniel was a superb follow up

We had a 7pm reservation on a Saturday night. The place was packed and we ended up having to wait outside for 20 minutes past our registration time. The staff brought out complimentary wine and turned on a gas heater for us, very nice of them. Our waitress was amazing, and we ultimately had some really incredible food. Great service.

Great little mom n' pop restaurant. The selection is smaller than im used to so I had higher expectations. They didn't let me down. Bravo! The Waitress was super nice and accommodating. I had a long day and while the menu selections all looked great I was just in the mood for a traditional sausage and peppers. I asked our waitress if they could accommodate an off menu request. She said we have all the ingredients so I don't see why not, but let me check with the kitchen. Less than a min later she came back and said no problem at all. The food was excellent. Great place. Highly recommend it.
