I know that y'all are good because you're from my home state. BUT.. Sliced beef.. uhh.. you're doing it wrong. Nobody since the creation of sliced beef (brisket) has EVER put cheese on it like y'all do in your pics. That's just nasty... Leave it to California. Y'all managed to make beer taste like $#!+. Y'all allowed demons to breed and spawn Pelosi and Boxer. I suppose cheese on brisket shouldn't come as any big surprise. Anyway, it's gross.. like licking a toilet seat in a rest area gross. Not to mention it's a sin.. in BBQ heaven (Texas) anyway. And too, did corporate not give you any pointers or lessons on how to cut brisket? Y'all have the brisket in your sliced beef sandwich looking like it's some of that nasty, back east, pulled pork $#!+. If you cut brisket wrong, you ruin it. And it doesn't matter if it's cooked perfect or not. The cut is just as important as the hours in the smoker, the rub and the sauce. Mess any one of those up and you might as well mess them all up. You have to cut it across the grain... Not with. And Holy God in heaven!!!... whatever you do, you never "pull" it like some backwater, possum eating, dueling banjo playing, purty mouthed, pork BBQ cooking, east of TEXAS, hillbilly!!!.. NEVER!
So please take that picture of the sliced beef sandwich down and replace it with something that looks like what TEXAS BBQ, aka Dickie's BBQ, is supposed to look like. Because you are embarrassing me.. I'm embarrassed FOR YOU.

I picked up a fried turkey meal Thanksgiving Day. The food was carefully packed. It was a huge amount of everything and everyone said it was delicious. I want to thank Elizabeth who was patient , friendly, and helpful over the phone .

So, I kinda have a thing for bbq. There just aren't enough good bbq spots around any town in my opinion. So having a chain that actually does it right means a lot. This Dickies in particular has been one of my favorites. Close to the house, food always great and the staff has always been nice. Definitely give it a try. I like the brisket. It's smoked just right.

Delicious! But get there early! Fresh fixing sell out at dinner time. Brisket was juicy and tender; delicious Mac n cheese; perfectly cooked fried okra, and kid's menu includes drink for $6.95! Also, free soft serve vanilla cones for dessert!
