I gave it 5 stars because of the home made Tortilla's and Menudo. Carne Asada Tacos aren't bad either.
Come for breakfast and lunch and the food is very good. Good spice for the chili heads.
My wife and I stumbled upon La Choza while looking for a way to escape the Labor Day traffic on south bound highway 101. We were just looking for a couple of tacos to tide us over until a larger supper before attending a play at El Teatro Campesino in San Juan Bautista. We found much more than we had expected. The La Choza menu is extensive. I ordered the costillas con nopales, and my wife ordered a huarache. Both were excellent, and the costillas were served with wonderful hand made corn tortillas, which are hard to find any more. I will look forward to returning to La Choza the next time I am in the vicinity of Morgan Hill.
