Comfortable atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff for the most part, and most importantly, absolutely delicious food. They seemed a bit quick to be rid of us, though, removed the chips and salsa from the table before we were done with everything yet the restaurant wasn't anywhere near full. I'd gladly go back, but don't think you're going to rush me and my chatty friends by nabbing the chip basket so early.
The food here is good but not great. The portions are large, the Margaritas are refreshing, and the satff is attentive. The bathroom is outside, which is a tiny bit odd, but not bad. It does get pretty busy at dinner time, so you might have to wait, so be ready for that
Vive sol goes big on the portions and big on the service. With just some chips and guacamole between the four of us as an appetizer- I still struggled to finish my entree- the Milanese. More traditional options which can be vouched for by the family include the chicken mole. Everything went quickly and efficiently without any issue - an emblem of a machine so well oiled they don’t take reservations.
ViVe Sol is one of our favorite places to go to get Latin cuisine. They have a long list of options to choose from though I have my staples I already come back for. The margaritas are made by hand - either while you're waiting it brought to your table. Parking lot in the back is small if they're busy but there is tons of free curbside parking on the opposite side of El Camino. And if the weather is nice, don't miss out on sitting on the outside patio.
Fantastic Mexican food. Vegetarians can enjoy most varieties of enchiladas and a few types of burrito as well. Mind blowing Nachos (with guacamole, sour cream, and beans). Very sinful, very delicious. Damage for two people with two enchiladas, a Nachos and two lemonades was ~$70. So definitely not a budget option. But was worth every $. Came away with two doggie bags, so great portion size. Fantastic ambience and friendly service staff. All in all definitely a place I will visit again, on occasion.
