Went here with the family and had a fantastic experience and a lovely dinner. The accommoded our need for a to-go meal and the end of the experience.
My five star rating is based on the customer service. This kid came in and looked at the menu but determined he couldn’t afford it; so, the woman told him to give her whatever he had and to come back tomorrow to pay the rest. I thought it was really generous and genuine. In a world where you can never be sure of people’s intentions, it was nice to see. The carne asada burrito filled me up quite nicely, too. Stop in and give some love to these folks; I hope you see and experience the great customer service, too!
Food was good with good quantity. The service could be better. But nice place to go.
Food is hit or miss, depending on what you order. Today, I had the guacamole tostada with beef lunch special that I found flavorless. My husband liked his chicken burrito, but it's nothing special. I have had their tamales and enchiladas before, which tend to taste more flavorful. Their salsa is usually yummy and spicy, but today was a little bland. Chips were good, but we were never offered a refill, which is a sign of good service. Service is basic, as they are usually understaffed. Don't plan to come here if you are in a rush. But is that really a negative? Bottom line is that it is a clean, solid place to come for a meal if you don't expect too much and are not in a hurry but there is better out there.
