Blossom Valley

Translation the little collection of shops next to the Safeway at Cuesta & Miramonte. The Safeway is small but the service is unusually good. Mountain Mike's in this complex is a good place to have a casual get together.

Nice little strip mall with a variety of stores. My biggest complaint is the exits on to Miramonte Street, which are so concave that almost every car I have driven there scrapes its front end or rear trailer hitch on the pavement going out. You have to go 2 mph and turn diagonal immediately to prevent this from happening.

Cute family plaza but the homeless campers are starting to camp close by and go here to beg. Everyplace has a help wanted sign and the bums are on a begging schedule but can't apply for a job! Hmm. (Donate to mt view community services. They help everyone and your dollar will buy a person groceries for a day and get them closer to housing.) This is a great Safeway to take Grandma grocery shopping :-)

Everything in Los Altos is spendy, as rents for Retailers are high. Food was good, but I was not amazed. A fine place to dine.
