Good prices, good food, love the bubble tea!
Drove out to the other side of CA area to get away from all the hazardous air near Calabasas and West Hills from the Woolsey Fire. Decided to stop by Pine & Crane as Ive heard great things about this place. Received amazing food and an even better hospitality from the employees. We really appreciate it! Thank you Pine & Crane Family!
The plastic cups they use for their teas easily split open on the side so try not to drop it on accident. I did inside my car and it made a big mess. Other than that, their tea selection (hot/cold) are decent as well as some of the food they have here on the menu. Friday nights are mostly busy here for dine-in which is a good sign.
A good place to have a quick meal. You can usually find some people eating alone, which means the food quality, price and waiting time is very well balanced.
Recommending their fried chicken, it's not amazing, to be honest, but can you find a better one around this area? Let me know if you do!
Hotpot is another thing to recommend. Pretty good price for single person. In the winter, if you are alone and don't want to cook, go there and order hotpot, you will feel warm from stomach to heart.
The fried taro yolk ball is very good! It's hiding in the menu but if you ever try, you will remember it's super crunch skin and soft filling. The saltiness of yolk surprisingly matches the sweet taro.
I also like the thick toast, coconut flavor. Remember to eat when it's still warm.
Well, last thing, don't expect too much on their boba tea. It's just average. Not bad tho.
Waitress are friendly which adding some credits for this place.
One of my favourite Taiwanese Cafe and tea places. I always order the crispy pig knuckle rice dish. The pork skin is very crispy and the meat is well flavored and cooked.
They also offered a variety of food, including different kinds of fried rice, hot pot, noodle soup, the Taiwan style sizzling plates with steak, pasta, and egg. Besides the entries, there are snacks like popcorn chicken .
It's a place not only good for a relaxing afternoon to sit with books or laptops by oneself, but also good for group gathering, or times a that you just don't want to cook!
