Absolutely the Best Desserts and Macaroons! Their Coffee is really great as well and they have the most amazing Chocolate Balls that look like beautiful marbles and they taste absolutely amazing! It's a Must when traveling to the bay area! I always go and the feeling I get when I'm there is comparable to being pampered at a luxury spa!

GENERAL Located in the heart of downtown Mountain view. Street parking or there is a parking structure not too far away. Inside is bright and white with table seating and counter seating first-come first sit. So best to have someone save a table and other people get in line.

CHOCOLATES some pieces of chocolate are nine dollars each. The beautiful colorful ones are $2.50 each or you can buy boxes. Their espresso was very strong! So if you can't handle bitter espresso on the strong side then do not order it. The chocolate pillow dessert was yummy as well as their chocolate coffee dessert. They have complimentary water on the side with plastic cups. They do sell food here like sandwiches.

Good enough selection of pastries, cakes, LOTS of macarons and other savory items.

Price? Expensive. But this is Mountain View. This is the Bay Area and expensive is a part of us now.

Anyway, I believe we were assisted by Jonathan. He has very polite but great service. The place was full and a line formed and still managed to take care of everyone.

We tried the berry tart & the lemon tart. The berry one had creme pat inside and I was not sweet at all. The lemon one, boy is it tangy. It's pretty tasty but the meringue on it is ridiculously sweet. So they compliment each other.

Didn't try drinks but I'll be back soon enough to try more. For now, it was a good visit!

Alexander's patisserie is my go to spot for any occasion.
    - The macaroons available here are so delicious - each bite starts with a nice subtle crunch and then follows the slow rolling waves of flavors.
    - The layers in the Opera are distinct and meld together to form a perfect treat for a birthday.
    - Bread pudding is so surprisingly simple and unassuming. Simply brilliant.

A classy bakery right in the downtown! The restaurant is a classy place with average seating space, which is actually quite a really good seating for a pastry shop. The shop and the sweets are a treat to the eyes, and is a wonderful couples dine out place. We ordered a single truffle chocolate ball, single lemon tart and a bread pudding slice.

The bread pudding was soft and not overly sweet and at present its the favorite thing from the place. They also have a small bread pudding cake which I will definitely buy later. This dish would be perfect for anyone who wants sweets, but does not have a sweet tooth.

The lemon tart was a cute little piece filled with the lemon flavor. The flavor was up to the point and the whipping cream gave it a nice soft melt-in-your-mouth texture.

The truffle ball was came in many flavors. They had the glazing marble look that reminded me of the small jumping balls that I used to play with. We bought the vanilla bean truffle ball, which was really really yummy.

I would definitely visit the place again to try out the other sweets, especially the macaroons.
