Great food and service. Have been here for brunch twice. Outdoor seating is really nice with plenty of heaters to get you through cooler weather. I look forward to coming back and trying a few of the cocktails on the menu.
A few friends and I met here for happy hour on a Friday, the location is very nice! Loved the lighting/ambiance and the overall vibe.
Ordering was done by scanning the QR code, which also enables us to all pay for our items separately which is nice. Note that the happy hour price doesn't show up when you look at the menu online, but the price changes to the HR price when you put an item in the cart. Seems very cumbersome, and for this day and age there is little excuse for having such an inconvenient user interface. Also $13 for a HR cocktail seems a bit high, even in the Bay Area. And I wish they have more snack-y food options to go with the drinks, instead of having to order a meal.
We all ordered food as well as drinks, and with the online ordering all came with names attached so it was easy to figure out who got what. :) All items came out fairly quickly, and overall tasted alright. I was slightly disappointed that my pineapple booster didn't have any discernible pineapple taste, but it was good. The fried chicken in my hot n' crispy chicken sandwich could be a tad more crispy as well. The salt roasted fries were delicious.
Service was good, the staff came by every 2-3 minutes to check on us. I don't know if the constant checking is necessary though, maybe they were trying to get us to leave to turn the table? Our conversation was always interrupted when they came by.
Overall not a bad place for happy hour, but definitely have its plusses and minuses.
This is a restaurant attached to the hotel. However the ambiance here is top notch. Way better than other establishments of this kind. The outside seating is lovely as well. The food was decent (exception of kids menu, the food needs more kids feedback). We will definitely will come back here. The wagyu dish is a must try here. The burger was well made as well.
Our server Justin was wonderful, hospitable, friendly and made our experience so nice. He made us feel at home and welcome. The food was great too! We'll be back!!!
Had a lovely dinner here this past weekend. Full review below:
Many Pros: very trendy and new restaurant nestled in a luxury hotel. Pretty outdoor space with lawn games added a great touch. There were robot “dish holders” milling around (pretty neat), and ordering was a smooth experience using the toast app. The roasted squash and salmon were delicious. My husband mentioned that the Hangar burger tasted great.
A few cons: Loved that you could just order using the toast web interface, however it would’ve been great to have a server walk us through the food options. Also, the alcoholic cocktails we ordered (Paloma) were too strong. Some folks wouldn’t mind this, but it was a little off putting. The cinnamon doughnuts were just okay.
Overall great experience, would go back for the ambience.
