Sousa's Wine & Liquors

I frequently visit Mountain View for business, and stay at the Hampton Inn next door. This is one of the first places I come to when I start my trips. Very convenient to pick up a bottle of wine, a few bottles of water and some snacks. The most common cashier that I encounter, who I assume is Sousa but have never asked his name, is always very friendly.

One of the few Portuguese markets in the Bay Area and one of the best! Sousa's definitely has a lot more to offer and comes with very yummy treats and what food!

This is the best store with Brazilian groceries of all the bay area!
There is a lot of variety of products with a good price!

Great little store with quality wine selection and Brazilian groceries. They even have canned feijoada! May not sound promising, but we tried it, and we’re surprised how good it was. Not far off from restaurant or homemade versions actually. The owner is very friendly too.

Prices are a bit high, but I assume the products are imported from Brazil, so maybe that’s why.

I wish they made the store name more obvious that they sell Brazilian products, and it’s not just another wine and liquor store. I would have discovered this wonderful place sooner. It’s in a plaza where all the other stores seem shut down so can be easily overlooked.

Try the wonderful selection of Portuguese wines (there are other wines in Portugal besides Porto). Just talk to the owner. He is super nice and sure is gonna help you deciding which one to buy. I also buy stuff from Portugal and Brazil there.
