A kind of romantic, rustic ambiance with plants all around and twinkle lights. The bread came freshly baked in a flower pot and the butter was deliciously light/very whipped with twinges of sage and thyme. The menu featured a nice array of healthy options, and, at least the harvest bowl, was just as delicious as it sounded and with all its components perfectly cooked. On the fancier end, it’s in a nice in between spot, where it’s not casual but not the super fancy restaurant you need to make reservations for well in advance. Perfect for a romantic date or birthday celebration.
Smart Millennial style decor (farmhouse/barn style) and menu in Stanford shopping center. The menu is limited (not many items), and the food quality is competent but uninspired. The food materials are high quality. This is a good place for a quick bite or a group to enjoy a meal together. The interior can be noisy at peak times. Beverages are served in "farm style" Mason Jars.
I love Terrain! The bread is amazing, also try out their cheese board. Main dishes also great. The atmosphere is always happily buzzing but doesn't feel overly loud, and the decor is so bright and nature-y. We come here frequently.
Normally we love this place, but last time we went the service was dreadful. After waiting for 20 minutes we gave up and walked over to ask the host if someone could come to take our order. In the end the host took the orders for us and the table next to us, and brought our food as well. We had to flag down another server to ask for the check. The menu we were given was also extremely limited - one page, and the most substantial food available was a charcuterie board. I'm assuming it was because of the time of day (4pm, an hour before their dinner service started), but it was still pretty disappointing. Really a shame, because on our other visits the service has been great and the food selection really good. Knocked off two stars because of this visit.
