(January 1, 2019, 11:56 am)The food is very good, though neither me or my friend think it's worth a 2 hour wait. I got the monte Cristo and it was very good, especially when you dip it in their home made jam. My girlfriend got the French toast sampler which was pretty good though not awe inspiring.

(November 18, 2018, 7:29 am)Staying at the Cardinal Hotel next door means free breakfast vouchers at Maxine, which is great. The menu looks nice and the crepes smell delicious. Unfortunately, I had only time for an espresso, which was great. Perfect little breakfast spot with character.

(November 12, 2018, 3:17 pm)I've only gone for breakfast a few times. Ive enjoyed the experience every time. It's great as a solo diner. The staff is friendly, food is good, great lattes and never too crowded.
