Had a private dinner there. Great place with friendly staff and perfect a meal. Also very friendly and easy to work with upfront when organizing the event.
The service was great, very attentive servers. The food was great, the entire table was served at once and the food was delicious, perfectly done, and hot. The portions we're a bit on the smaller side and so 4 stars.
We had the best time!. Our waitress made our first experience there so pleasant we felt very comfortable at first when you go into an expensive restaurant you're not really sure but they were so down to earth they made everyone feel very welcome which made the experience so much more better really like to thank or waitress first impressions are very important have a good time drink some good wine the selection of wine is incredible. Our waitress name was Cathy. I had the flat iron steak it was absolutely delicious
The service was fun and adaptable. The food was excellent, both in quality and presentation. I got the king salmon dish, with risotto, fava beans, and morels. Strangely enough, the balsamic reduction was my favorite part. The dish was served on a warm plate, which was a nice touch. My worst complaint is that someone pronounced "salmon" with a hard L, which means you're doing pretty damn good.
Also, the price point indicator on Google Maps currently says "$$" and that's wrong--if someone claims it's true, they're flexing on you. The appetizers average somewhere around $30, the "regular" sea entrees average around $60, and the desserts are around $15. One of the specials was $300+. I'd rank that "$$$" or "$$$$" in my book.
Fine staff, great bar as a reception and then to dinner. I was part of a private party in a room to the side and the experience was awesome. The food was delicious and included creative seafood dishes among other things. A must-see for anyone in the Bay Area. For those who remember this as Trader Vic's, the Sea seems to be on a slightly higher plain. $$$$
-don't leave valuables in sight in your car.
-do try one of their many wines
-the menu is amazing
