    Not expensive and delicious thai food.

    Food was just ok, ambience was a bit run down. The fried calamari was soggy and the fried rice was a bit greasy, but the grilled salmon was really good.

    Lotus Thai Bistro Palo Alto
    Located at 425 California Ave, Palo Alto, CA, this is a good choice for Thai food. A large variety of typical Thai dishes are on the menu for eating there, takeout, or delivery at very reasonable prices. I enjoyed the Sticky Rice with Mango, delicious and generous portion. Wife had Pad Thai $8.95 and we shared sauteed eggplant $8.95. These were not the usual recipe we've had at other places, but were enjoyable and unique. The layout is long and narrow making seating a little inconvenient. There was enough for lunch the next day, still good.

    Every dish had great presentation and was delicious. Not over priced like most restaurants in the area. High recommend!
