The pork ribs were superb. Everything else was very tasty, too. The cornbread is more like pound cake, and made an excellent dessert.

    Got
Curried goat.... awesome.. totally get this. More tender than most goat dishes and great flavor. Not spicy.

Jerk wings... Showed up chewy at first, we sent it back and second batch was juicy

Collard greens... Good flavor has a small kick

Ribs.... Still as wow! as last time

I love the taste of their smaller platter here but the only down side is that if you go here at night, it is packed. Lucky us there was a parking garage with free parking. I have been here like three times and the taste is always there but the portion size seems to vary on the day you go here. The problem is that they charge you the same price every time for the food. So sometimes I ask myself, is it really worth it coming here?

Yum! I've been here twice, and the first time I got the jerk chicken, which included 2 drumsticks and 1 chicken breast as well as two scoops of rice and some plantains. Chicken was super juicy and tender, and there was enough sauce. It was also quite spicy, and I have a pretty high tolerance for spicy. I ended up eating all my rice too, which was a surprise to me. I thought some of the meat wasn't cooked well enough yet because it was still a bit pink, so I didn't eat those parts. The plantains didn't feel super fresh; they were lukewarm so my suspicion is that they microwaved them? Not sure. Rice was pretty good, as it was chewy and not mushy, and the beans in the rice were soft but not mushy. In conclusion, good flavoring for the chicken, good rice, meh plantains, and good service! The second time I came here, I got jerk chicken and shrimp curry. The jerk chicken was again tasty, and the shrimp curry was flavorful too. The plantains weren't impressive. For dessert I got an upside down pineapple cake. The cake was too sweet to my taste, but the cake was soft and moist. Both times the service was quite good as the waitresses came by to ask about how our meal was and to refill water. Prices are fair; a plate of food is about $15-17 post-tax, which is good for the amount of food they give!

I think over the years it's know longer owned by Jamaicans. The Jerkchicken sauce & Plantains are not cooked truly the Jamaican way. We came here in remembrance of my father from Kingston. Services we very good the atmosphere was nice but not Jamaican. The food was still good but not in a Jamaican way.
