Very friendly workers at the front who can explain the menu if it is your first time and will give samples of their side dishes near the register. When our food arrived we had people checking on us to make sure everything was alright. I would say the food itself is closer to 4 stars (the chicken and tuna were just ok) but would be my pick for a quick, healthy lunch in downtown PA.”

“Went here for drinks and apps with some friends. One was having a birthday. I am not a beer drinker so I can't really speak to that but my friends that are beer drinkers would rate it 4 out of 5. I had a mixed drink, a Long Beach Iced Tea, and was pretty happy with that. The apps were good. We had the Kobe Sliders, Glazed Chicken Wings and the Gordon Biersch Garlic Fries (of course!). Nothing mind altering but still good bar food. There are definitely some items on their regular menu that I'd like to give a try. Very good chance I will return!”

“I like Octopus and samplers. Most of the dishes were spicy. I think the balance of spices were not very good. There should be spice fragrance not just the spiciness. The two main dishes we ordered were beef and chicken. They were spicy and bitter. I did not taste the curry flavor but just spicy. I think putting some onions could be good choices to make it taste better. Service was good overall. Decoration was pretty. Small portions. Four people will be max for one dish to share.”

“Impressed! I got the turkey and avocado Transmission, and my dad got the steak Kupa Starter, and we split. I thought both were delicious, with plenty of meat and vegetables; I enjoyed the bug bread. My dad liked it too, and my husband enjoyed his too, whatever it was. Driftwood Deli used to be our go-to but I give the Sandwich Bug the edge. In a sandwich desert like Silicon Valley it's great to have a place like this, and nearby! I hope they survive this terrible time for restaurants.”
