Rubio's Coastal Grill

This is one of the better Rubio's in the area. The service is usually great for a fast food joint and they don't water the salsa down like a lot of Rubio's do (which is a major pet peeve of mine). I am typically in the mood for something more authentic, but love to swing by here every few months.

Good food, pricing not clear
I wanted a lick bowel from the menu, they asked what kind of meat I wanted. I asked what are my choices without starting that the price will change depending on meat selection. I was taken aback a bit when I got the bill. I was not surprised that it was more expensive, but the person taking my order should have told me the price before totaling everything up. That, or the menu board should include price info.

The fish taco especial is pretty much the only thing I ever order here. If you're into fish tacos, you can't go wrong!

Best fish tacos around. Also love the salsa bar. Rubio's has some good specials too. They serve beer & wine which makes is a nice, affordable stop after work

Fish burritos are great. I love the salsa bar and chips. They recently had a special called the California burrito. It had steak and French fries in it. So tasty. I hope they bring it back. The taco plates are really good too. The staff is always super friendly here. I recommend giving it a try
