Obu Ramen House

Got the chicken karaage bowl. I'm not picky about fried chicken, so it tasted fine to me. A few hours later, I'm super thirsty from eating that dish even though I'm hydrated. I don't know know how much salt is in it. Just be aware if you're sodium sensitive.

My boyfriend and I finally decided to check this spot out. The service was great! We wish the broth/soup would have been a little warmer that expected. We each ordered a bowl and a side of fries. ???? We'll have to come back with the kids and try other sides.

The set up is nice and modern. They also have a bar with a big screen TV. The bar space is limited though.

A little more expensive than I would usually pick for just a meal, this is probably fine for a special occasion or a date. Presentation of the food is on the fancy side and mine came with stuff I had to ask about (it might have been made from seaweed), but was a delight to the eye.

I liked the decor and atmosphere, but I am not sure I am a ramen guy. I was glad I went once, and it pains me to admit that having something with beef and a little less exotic flavor would have hooked me a little more. The flavor was kind of a hot and sour and maybe a hot and sweet would have been better for me.

The service was great, it looked like the bar was being well enjoyed, and the place seemed trendy and filled with well dressed people having a great time.

It is good to try new stuff, so give this place a shot.

LOVE IT! I tried them last night and now I'm having them for work lunch again today. Great food, great taste, seems really original in comparison to the many other ramen shops I've tried. They also have a full bar which i thought was really cool. It's small but feels comfortable inside. Definitely not as small as it seems. ♡
