Claw Shack

Definitely our favorite seafood restaurant in bay area, me and my friend we`ve tried several similar ones, such as Kicking Crab, and others, but we love Claw Shack the most. We basically visited every week, definitely love their shrimp and clam combo with corns, sausages and potatoes. And their clam chowder is also pretty amazing! Fish and chips were absolutely amazing tasting. The fish had to Cajun seasoning in the breading that was just a tiny bit spicy, extremely crispy, and the inside was perfect.

Love the shakie sauce very much. The food is served quickly and hot. We four ordered shrimp clam and mussel, all are very fresh and clean. This is a wonderful place for seafood.

seafood and the atmosphere at this location is super good. Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. The service here is attentive. Prices are decent for the quality. Mood here reminds me of San Diego's scene.

I would give Claw Shack 3.5 stars. Their sauce for mussels, clams, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes is not that much different than the other seafood (in a bag) restaurants. The service is great. I loved their garlic noodles. You can select your spiciness level for your seafood.

Yum! Love their sauces at this location. The seafood itself is okay, but the sauces really brings out the flavor. They're always willing to give you extra sauce too. The sauces can also get pretty spicy if you ask. I like how you have the option of getting the shrimp headless if you want (costs you a bit more if you do). Beware that during the fall/winter, the Crawfish is frozen and it really is noticeable.
