Corner Bakery Cafe

Nice cafe, good spread of options. I love there tomato basil soup. There pastas are also good.

I ordered the pick two Mac & Cheese and chopped salad. There was more food than I could eat. The Mac & Cheese was what I really wanted but the quality was a little better than a box mix. The salad was the star of the meal very fresh & super tasty. Each bite was an adventure in your mouth.

It is on par with Panera.

It was mid afternoon when my wife and I stopped in for a late lunch. We saw 2 staff while we were there. I ordered the half sandwich and cup of soup with a water and my wife ordered a bowl of soup and after asking if the coffee was fresh and being assured that the staff person taking the order would brew a fresh pot, she ordered a cup of coffee. We noted that about a third of the tables needed to be cleared and wiped down and most of the napkin holders were empty. Our food arrived quickly but the coffee was not brewed until after we were done eating. The soup and panini I had were quite good. The soup for my wife was delivered with no bread (that is apparently an as requested option which the order taker never mentioned) and with a teaspoon vs soup spoon. The bread was quickly delivered but was stale and one pat of butter was brought but no knife to spread it with. As we left the restaurant, the two staff were huddled behind the counter appearing to be chatting and no tables had been cleared. I know hiring good people is difficult these days but the Corner Bakery Cafe really needs to train/supervise/replace theirs so patrons can feel comfortable and well served.

Comfortable, cozy, friendly!! Efficient service and sandwiches are generous, tasty. Price is reasonable. I appreciate that a server brings the food to my table.

Often meet at Corner Bakery for work. If you miss the morning and lunch rush hours, it is easy to find seating, some of which has outlets to recharge your PC or phone. They have great breakfast and lunch items as well as free coffee refills. With their many locations, they provide a good in-between meeting spot for meeting someone half way.
