    We were in a hurry, wanting to eat between events at WorldCon 2017. So, the host suggested we sit at the bar and order appetizers. We asked our bartender, Manuel, what appetizers are quick. He told us to order any except the flat breads. We ordered a variety of non-bread starters and we were quite happy with the cook time. The Greek food at Nemea is excellent, some of the best we’ve ever eaten. Their version of fried cheese comes in a sauce I could eat by the bucket. I literally ate the sauce at the bottom of the baking dish, with a fork. It was messy and I looked like a barbarian, but it didn’t care. It was that good.

    The ambience was fantastic! Food was good. People who had the lamb liked that better than my beef. I felt the quantity of the beef souvlaki was a little less. The octopus was really good. I've never eaten it before it was very well prepared. Cocktails were decent as well. Greek fries were really good and well seasoned, huge quantity of it!

    I dined at Nemea Greek Taverna for the first time last night. Everything was excellent! They have a nice ambience that is well decorated. Our service was superb. The food was absolutely delicious! This is the best Mediterranean restaurant that we have visited in the San Jose area and we are looking forward to dining with them again...very soon.

    I dined at Nemea Greek Taverna for the first time last night. Everything was excellent! They have a nice ambience that is well decorated. Our service was superb. The food was absolutely delicious! This is the best Mediterranean restaurant that we have visited in the San Jose area and we are looking forward to dining with them again...very soon.

    Extremely high quality Greek cuisine. I was drawn to the restaurant for its reviews and it did not disappoint. The food reminded me very much of the authentic food I had while visiting Greece. The lamb shank was incredibly flavorful and tender. As a whole, the ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, as was our service. Would highly recommend to many fan of quality food.
