Food and customer service is great, some prices were high, some were a great deal, I'll definitely come again.
I go here almost every weekend. Very consistent quality and food is fresh. There aren't many options in this area on Sunday. Thanks Okayama Express is open on Sunday.
Here's the pluses and minuses: Pluses: 1. They are open 7 days a week in a strip mall that largely is closed down on weekends and this consistency of being available (they also stay open continuously between opening and closing, not just lunch and dinner hours) has paid off for them I think.. 2. Prices are reasonable 3. Occasionally they have decent quality uni and toro Minuses: They are doing their best but this will never be a first-rate Japanese restaurant: I think they are struggling within the physical limitations of their site and this causes, for example, them put a dirty-dish busing tray in plain site, kind of a turn-off. Summary: This is a perfectly acceptable place to go for a meal and you never have to wonder if it is open and on weekends or evenings parking is zero problem.
It is a nice Japanese place. It is crowded during lunch times however it is worth the wait. They have good selection of entrees. You can also order two or three item combos which are called as bento. The lunch special or combinations also include soup of the day, rice and salad. You should definitely try out their teriyaki chicken and tempura, which is fried shrimp and a variety of vegetables.
