CHICK N’ BROS

It was good. I didn't realize it was a food truck. I definitely would have come more prepared. They gave us 1 napkin a piece for the sandwich and it was messy. That's my only issue. The sandwich was seasoned well and it was tasty.

We ordered the Nashville hot chicken with level 4, and the flavor was all there! It was spicy, but it was bomb af. The meat was super moist and piping hot. We definitely can't wait to try level 5 when we come back. The sandwich doesn't come with fries, but it's an extra $2-4 if you'd like it on the side
It's best to eat it right away like we did (ate in car), so you can get a good experience!

Most people familiar with the chicken sandwich scene in the south Bay area will know that Chick'n bros is one of the three best joints to grab a hot one. Their menu is only chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders so if youre vegetarian then its only going to be curly fries for dinner.

There are five spice levels and I believe there's a weekly contest for anyone who can finish a level 5 sandwich completely. Yes, that sandwich can be weaponized. I would say I have a pretty good tolerance to spice and I generally live in the level 2-3 area. Level 4 I'm afraid should be reserved for dares with a good amount of money or pride on wager. The tenders on offer are pretty big portions, offering a lot more value than a sandwich in my opinion.

The biggest thing differentiating Chick'n bros from Scratch and Chubby's is how juicy their meat is. The meat isn't greatly cut to a specific shape but is perfectly spiced and fried. The result does not lend itself to a very convenient sandwich eating experience. However, the effect in terms of the taste more than makes up for the mess one would make eating it. In short, regardless of whether you like a clean sandwich eating experience or otherwise i would definitely recommend you try this atleast once. They have me coming back again and again for sure.
