Funny Farm Restaurant

They are still in a soft opening phase, so they get a pass on the mix-up with our food order. We wanted a side order of onion rings and instead got our french fries replaced. But I found the food exceptionally greasy and neither my husband nor I felt great after eating there. It was just way too heavy. Other people maybe just fine, I tend to eat a fairly healthy diet, so maybe it just didn't agree with me. But it won't be a meal that we repeat.

Still going through opening pains due to Covid, but the food is Amazing!!!
Comfort food done RIGHT!

I decided to check them out while visiting my grandma at The Villages.
My toddlers were hungry so I ordered them a grilled cheese with tater tots and a side of bacon. The food came pretty fast considering people kept coming in to do take out.
My daughter loved the side of crumbled bacon and my son enjoyed dipping everything else into the maple syrup that comes with it.
I look forward to bringing my grandma there for breakfast when they fully open up, and to see what fun things they come up with for the breakfast menu as well as seeing how they decorate the inside.

So excited to have a great new sit down restaurant in Evergreen again! We did take out this week - Cowboy Burger, El Jeffe (Cubano) sandwich, Patty melt, Beef short rib Poutine, and some giant onions rings. All were great! The owner Monica said they will open for breakfast too in about a month. Open for take out! We will be going here often! Thank you!

Wow! This restaurant is simply amazing! The food is so delicious and I am in heaven knowing they just moved into this area!! If you haven't tried The Funny Farm yet, you're definitely missing out on some great comfort food.
