SLATERS 50/50

We got to the mall thinking about another spot until my friend pointed out a brand new restaurant he hasn’t seen before, so we decided to pick it out. Now to be honest we waited pretty long to get a seat and there were many others waiting after us as well. Instead of waiting for a table, we decided to head for the bar and sit there. I guess we lucked out our bartender/server, ‘Heidi’, was very enthusiastic and helpful while ordering for food and the beverages. The restaurant was having a tough time, staffing issue was very noticeable and food was taking awhile to get to the tables. Our appetizer came to our table with our sandwiches, which we didn’t mind at all. I ate the biggest burger item on the menu with two patties and a fried chicken stacked on. To many it would be a very heavy load kind of a meal, but to me who’s prior night was wild drinking session, it was kind of godsend. All in all, the food was good, there were many options on the drink menu, the staff was friendly, etc. this made my review score high for today at least.

However if you’re crunching for time and wanted to drop by for a quick, tasty burger lunch or something like that. You might want to think about another option. Their service was decent, but timing was an issue. If you got all the time in the world and just want to hang back with ice cold mug of beer in hand waiting for a great burger option, this is it. But if not, it’s not worth the hassle.

Excellent burgers and delicious sides! Get the Vampire Dip - there’s a reason it’s the #1 app. I had my burger in a lettuce wrap and it was presented very nicely. My dining buddy had the 50 Alarm Burger - be warned it’s super spicy! Service was great but that’s expected for lunch on a weekday. Overall will definitely return again if we’re looking for a juicy burger. Didn’t try any drinks but the menu looks awesome for next time. Good for groups, especially on sports game nights.

I wanted to love this place....I really did, but it just wasn't what I was expecting. Food took a long time to arrive to our table, burger lacked flavor and fries were soggy subpar. Not sure I will try this place again.

This type of restaurant is a good addition to the Blossom Hill/Oakridge mall area. Some of the food was really good, but some left more to be desired (the fries were cold and soggy).

The Vegan Shroomin Onion burger (pictured) was outstanding, and so was the Nashville hot chicken sandwich.

SoCal classic finally arrives to the Bay Area! Beer, bacon, and burgers will leave you satisfied and you can top off your food coma with a milkshake that will even knock Will Farrell's 'Elf' socks off. I've been waiting months for them to open and the time has come! Get the sweet potato fries with the pumpkin sauce!
