Vons Chicken Hostetter

Vons chicken is one of my favorite KFC (Korean fried chicken) places! Their chicken is HUGE and the flavors are amazing! My favorite would have to be the soy garlic fried chicken. Can never go wrong with that one! I also tried the yangnyeom fried chicken and it was pretty good! I can’t explain the flavor but I enjoyed it a lot.

I love the variety they offer. They have plenty of options for you to choose from and have outdoor seating if you’re looking to dine there! Employees are super friendly and helpful if you don’t know what to order. Highly recommend everyone check them out. They seriously have one of the best KFC!

A new Von’s location has opened up in San Jose and I couldn’t be more excited! Parking was easy to find and everything inside the store was super clean. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful as well.

The chicken wings were cooked fresh and quite large! Both orders were super addicting, full of flavor, and not dry, but I personally preferred the crispy fried chicken over the garlic chicken just because I like the crunch of the skin hehe. They also provided extra sides like cheddar powder, honey butter, yangnyeom sauce, and pickled radish which complimented the wings wonderfully. This was enough to fill 2 people and there were leftovers! It smelled amazing in the car when I was on my way home and that made me look forward to eating it again.

All in all, I would definitely come back to try their other flavors!

Overall, craving was satisfied and service and ordering was quick and easy.  Definitely will be back when craving Korean Fried Chicken again! Tried the honey cheddar combo fried chicken as well as the soy glazed baked chicken. This order for two hungry adults was just right! (But we also eat a lot so…) The meat was tender, juicy, and delicious.

Vons chicken review:
Honey Butter and Cheddar Chicken: This was the most interesting but also very popular. Reminded me of the Korean honey butter chips! Sweet with the savory from the cheese powder.

Garlic Chicken: This was my favorite!  So much garlic that it smelled up my car on the way home!
