Din Tai Fung

Food is never disappointing here. Service was alright this time. Our waiter had some “oolong” on our orders. He told us some items were out, so we asked for other things as replacement. At the end both our originate order and replacement order came out.
We ate so much. Wish this didn't happen so we would only eat the reasonable amount of food. At least they offered us some free dessert so I'm still giving 4 stars.

I miss being able to book lunches online, but if one has the time on a weekend its worth the time and effort to line up 30 minutes before opening. If that doesn't suit your schedule, then order take out and eat it at the food court tables upstairs!

I do suggest eating it there, as part of the dim sum experience is to have it delivered to your table steaming!

Great ambience, variety of options for vegetarian food. Amazing service too! Rather than reading the reviews, I would recommend one to actually go visit the place and experience!

The food actually got better! When Din Tai Fung firstly opened in Westfield I went there and waited for two hours with my family. Then it ended up to be the worst Din Tai Fung I tried in my life. Therefore I avoided it for almost one year. Then recently I tried it again since I felt amazed that so many people are still willing to wait such a long time for it. But now I see that it’s worth it because they actually improved!

I'll start off with this being my first experience at this restaurant. The dim sum selection was fairly limited but the quality of the food was great. The steam buns are fairly small but definitely sharable and the dumplings are savory. The price point is fair and our server, Kristina, went above and beyond making out experience a great one. She not only informed us of the most popular selection but also offered to make the dipping sauce with ginger for us. She was very attentive during a busy time and day.
