Sigoljip Korea BBQ

Great Korean food. Careful about parking in the wrong spot behind the restaurant. Youtr car might get locked behind a gate for the night.

This place is very easy to miss. The place seems to go by both Sigoljip and Shu’s Korean.
The only real sign is on the side of the building and only visible if you are going east on El Camino.

My wife liked that they shelled their shrimp and clams in their tofu soup and their Bulgogi was good too. When we went, they had a side dish bar with a couple of items that I don’t see very often.

They don’t have a parking lot so you need to find a spot nearby or park on the street and walk there.

The food was delicious and authentic. The dishes tasted and looked home cooked. My husband and I ordered the samgyupsal gui set for two and kim chi gae. The helpings are huge, and there were many sides, each one delicious. We ended up taking away enough for another meal. The hostess was friendly and helpful, making sure we knew how to eat all the dishes. She taught us how to make a lettuce wrap "Korean style".
