Great food, but the portions are huge! And you pay for it. I’d give five stars if they bring down the portions and prices a bit to go with it. The laksa was particularly good, but it’s enough for 2-3 people.

The place looks great. Interiors are tastefully done and love the vibe. However, the food is average. We ordered the Green curry and Eggplant mojo. Although interesting, it didn’t leave a huge impression on us and we will not order the dishes again.

Delicious! Two of us were in town for a couple days for work, walked over on a lark because we were staying nearby. Hoo-boy we were not disappointed! I had the "pineapple" fried rice (there wasn't a huge amount of pineapple mixed in, and it was blended in with the other flavors very well), my coworker had one of the curry dishes. The restaurant itself was very roomy, nice quiet ambiance, very relaxing, and the food was quite fantastic. The wait staff was very attentive but unobtrusive, we both left happy and satisfied

Delicious Malaysian food. Loved their Kam Heong Tofu, would go there just for it again. Chicken satay was delicious as well. Staff was welcoming and super friendly. Interior is modern and spacious. We would definitely recommend this place for a Malaysian cuisine.

Malaya is in a new concept restaurant in the former space of Mexicali. It is a Malaysian restaurant. I had never had Malaysian food and it was a cross between Indian and Thai.

Food was a bit pricey, but it was tasty. Place was also packed at lunch, which is a good sign of quality.

Signature drinks were great as well.
