I have been going to Hot pot first occasionally for quite some time. It is a very good place to meet with friends and have a relatively quick lunch

I came here again a few days ago and I thought it was pretty good. I actually meant to go to another restaurant but that one ended up closed, so I came here because it was in the same plaza. Anyway, I got the spicy hot pot and replaced woodear mushroom with tofu. I also got udon. The rice with minced pork was okay, as the rice was a bit mushy. The udon was a bit soft but acceptable, and there were a lot of ingredients in the hot pot. It was basically like eating a big bowl of noodles with hot pot flavor and ingredients. It was great! I quite enjoyed it, and the spicy was sufficiently spicy. It's pricey (although about average for hot pot I guess) at around $18 post-tax. Definitely appreciated the portions!

The combo deals are good value to get a milk tea, appetizer, and hot pot for $23. The server was very attentive and immediately noticed when a member of the table dropped their chopsticks. I got Chingqing hot pot fire, and it’s comparable to boiling point’s Tawainese in spicy. They had one a hidden modifier to make it spicier as well for those who enjoy it. The flavor is standard though, nothing remarkable. Overall a cozy option for those nearby.

Love this place! Delicious individual hotpot- tasty broth with a great variety of meats and veggies apart from your chosen protein. Always friendly and prompt service. Of all the hotpot places in the area, this one is the best in taste, quality and service.
