FireFish Grill

Nice place, been here before. I ordered a steak and this is a seafood joint. It was cooked ok and tasted just ok. The portion was small and not worth it for the price of the steak and an ice cream scoop size serving of mashed potatoes which for those 2 reasons, it's a 4 star. The least they could have done is give a little bigger serving of mashed potatoes or veggies. The lady had a salmon plate that tasted good. I'm not a seafood fan which is why I ordered a steak, but I tried the salmon and it was grilled and cooked perfectly. Our waitress Cameron was really sweet and attentive based on the number of people there tonight and it was busy for a Tuesday night. We left her a good tip. It's really a 4.5 star review.

Great views. A little pricey, but the food is excellent.

Incredible salmon & great cocktails too. Was fantastic meal. Went with some local friends - so not just popular with tourists. Note that at night, even with a window seat (ocean view) it is pitch black out & you don't see anything. During the day, ocean view tables stunning view. Also great viewing kitchen - see all the food being prepared. Enjoy!

Tuesday evening was not a busy night here, and we ordered off the locals menu, with a couple of call drinks from the bar. Impressed by the prompt and delicious meal, we ordered dessert and enjoyed ourselves immensely. This was an affordable and wonderful midweek splurge and one I'm looking forward to repeating.

Awesome restaurant and bar staff. Open view of great looking kitchen and the chefs are on it! Appetizers and mains were cooked and served to perfection and ingredients were fresh. Manager even took time to ask the wife if we were enjoying everything. It's hard for me to rate any place 5 stars but this one is pretty much that. Only downside, no beer on tap :( Thoroughly enjoyed our late lunch on our last day spent in Santa Cruz over the New Year holiday.
