    This place was great! They had a few vegetarian options, but they were delicious! I ended up getting the shotgun dinner box special, which comes with rice, salad, miso soup, and 2 options of protein (I got teriyaki tofu, and veggie gyoza). I also got the cashew maki roll which I would 100% recommend for vegetarians.

    Terrific sushi and shashimi in the heart of Santa Cruz. Fish was incredible and the uni was the best I have seen locally. Prompt attentive service made it a great evening.

    My favorite sushi in Santa Cruz. They always offer great service and fresh fish. I've never been disappointed.

    japanese food and the atmosphere here is great. Looking forward to coming back with my friends. The bill was decent. Atmosphere is similar to a cafe in San Jose I loved.

    Honestly, way better than I was expecting. Quality of fish was good and the nigiri had nice presentation. However, the rice needs work. It was too sticky and loosely packed; our rolls were falling apart. Prices are surprisingly cheap though. Will probably return to see if the rice improves.
