Everything on the wide-ranging menu is nutritious, delicious, and creative (healthy fried chicken and waffles?!). And the restaurant's modern interior aesthetic, friendly staff, and awesome retail products for sale make Primal even better. 10/10 would recommend!

(March 19, 2019, 9:15 am)Came for the Sunday brunch and it was absolutely scrumptious. Brunch is ordered at the counter and it was an overall very pleasant experience. The food was very fresh and super delicious. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles it was surprisingly crispy! The classic breakfast was also very good. I’ve heard a lot about primal in Santa Cruz and can say it lives up to the hype although you certainly pay full price for the wonderful experience.

(February 27, 2019, 4:52 am)Great food, Friendly service, amazing ambience and healthy eats! The portions were just right and the food is so well made. Table of 7 and everyone loved their meal. Definitely check this place out. Thank you Primal for coming to Santa Cruz. We will definitely be back.
