The food is dated, uninspired, poorly-executed, and too oily. It had clearly sat under heat lamps for a while. We tried several dishes and most were disappointing.
The staff however were friendly and extremely attentive. I wish they would direct some of this effort into the food. That said the squash ravioli and coconut rice were very good. Cocktail were tasty.
Burgers were good. Clam Chowder was a delicious! Bloody Mary hit the spot! Nice views. Friendly staff. Water views and beach walk nearby.
Comfy lots people..cold Spring evening! With full moon coming update I can see many different types of dining downstairs or formal upstairs inside outside a real establishment. When I wanted a steak upstairs they sent me downstairs they were saying that downstairs has a better selection of steak and prime rib well I could see the sunset and the moonrise we're out of my grass so I went downstairs and had a prime. Nice place with parking.
Whenever family or friends come into town and are looking for a special dining experience, we suggest The Crow's Nest. After several visits, we have never been disappointed and most often our guests leave raving about the food, location and service. Such was the case when our party of six, including two teenagers, thoroughly enjoyed a delightful dinner. The menu is beyond compare, as is the food and presentation. The restaurant overlooks the Santa Cruz Small Craft Harbor. Request a window seating, and you will not be disappointed. Did I mention the service is outstanding? Enjoy.
We absolutely loved our visit to the Crow’s nest. My husband, parents and I went during lunch, and tried the sweet potato and walnut ravioli, cod, blackened chicken salad, and prime rib sandwich. Jesse served us with a smile, answered all of our questions and made us feel like we were his only customers. The view is picturesque, with a lighthouse in the distance and sailboats and kayaks on the water. I highly recommend a visit if you’re in the area.
