Blaze Pizza

Great way to get exactly what you want... But very inconsistent. They seem to have lost their main manager (the one that was there since they opened) which could explain some of the issues they are having. We still go here regularly, and keep giving it chance after chance because it's one of the few places still open after 9pm. And when they aren't too busy, or they have the right staff the food is good, the line is quick, and the pizza comes out great. But we have seen and experienced a lot of things that I think would take it off the list for a number of people. Things like forgetting orders of dough knots, burning pizzas and having to remake them -this is happening pretty regularly lately-, staff just standing there while it's clear lots and lots of side jobs need to happen: they are "running out"of things quite regularly these days (one day they just decided they didn't want to make dough knots any more, which is ridiculous, as they are one of their best selling items), and the worst offense in my opinion: I watched them make an online order pizza where the metal number they use to keep track of the order (it sits on top of the pizza while they put the ingredients on) feel into the floor only to be picked up and out right back on the pizza. Yep, you read that correctly.
So, while we haven't stopped coming, we are vigilant in watching out pizza get made (never online ordering), we are prepared to leave when it is even remotely busy (their record shows a less than stellar experience when this is the case), and we have lowered our expectations considerably for the average visit. Still... When it's good, it's pretty good.

Love this place. They've got great toppings selection and their spicy marinara sauce is my favorite. It's always clean and their staff is very friendly and professional. Definitely a great place to grab some pizza!

The best thing I like about their pizza is that it is freshly baked at all times. There's no reheating of premade slices or pies. The crust is thin and delicious, and so is everything else. A bit pricey but totally worth it.

Unique pizza place where they make your own personal pizza. Cooks fast. Hip and modern interior with a Santa Cruz vibe.

OK, this pizza place is to pizza like Subway is to sandwiches.
You walk down the line of yummy ingredients, and pick and choose what you like.
I love cheese, and their pesto sauce, for a starter.
I also like a bazillion little blasts of flavor from chilies, tomatoes, peppers, and meats.
